The IMSO Director General has attended a contingency exercise which took place at Inmarsat’s Operational Backup Centre (OBC) facility at Burum in the Netherlands on 10th of November 2015. The Atlantic Ocean Region West (AOR-W) exercise was performed in order to exercise the staff, communications and decision-making at that emergency standby facility.
