
The Director General of IMSO Captain Moin Ahmed, was honoured by a visit to IMSO today, by His Excellency Mr. Gaston Browne, the Prime Minister of Antigua & Barbuda. The Prime Minister was accompanied by His Excellency the Ambassador Mr Dwight C.R. Gardiner – Permanent Representative of Antigua and Barbuda to the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) in London.
During his hour long visit, the Prime Minister also had discussion with the Executive Vice-President of INMARSAT Ltd. Ms Alison Horrocks. A guided tour of the Inmarsat Network Operations Centre (NOC) facilities was included in the visit’s schedule and was very well received.
The visit was timely and amidst the diplomatic formalities accorded the gravitas of the visitor, proceeded with a friendly and relaxed air throughout.
