IMSO Director General Captain Moin Ahmed was pleased to receive, this week, a number of delegates, visiting IMSO office in London, ahead of upcoming 24th Session of IMSO Assembly, 15-17 November 2016.
The visitors included delegates from Algeria, Belize, Ecuador, Islamic Republic of Iran, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Sri Lanka.
The guests attended a presentation on IMSO activities and were given a tour of the Inmarsat’s Network Operation’s Centre (NOC), where they were briefed on the practical application of GMDSS technology including a variety of Ship-Earth-Stations (SES) terminals and Inmarsat’s latest 6th generation satellites.
