Brazilian Ambassador for IMO and IMSO visits IMSO

The Director General of IMSO, Captain Moin Ahmed, had the pleasure of welcoming His Excellency, the Honourable Hermano Telles Ribeiro, Ambassador of Brazil to IMO and IMSO accompanied by the Minister Counsellor Ana Paula Simoes Silva, paid a courtesy visit to the IMSO headquarters today, the 2nd November 2016.

In all, the distinguished guests were looking forward to the IMSO 24th session of the assembly meeting which takes place from the 15th to 17th of November, 2016 and very enthusiastic about the future cooperation between the Brazilian authorities and IMSO and discussion were held to promote such cooperation.

The Brazilian delegation also visited the Inmarsat Network Operation Centre

Brazilian Permanent Representatives visits IMSO

The Director General of IMSO welcomed the Brazilian IMO Permanent Representatives to IMSO today. The visit served to jointly bid farewell to the outgoing Permanent Representative Admiral Eduardo Monteiro Lopes and to welcome his successor Admiral Wilson Guerra, to the London maritime community.

Admiral Lopes, stated that it had been a pleasure and an honour to work with IMSO. He congratulated the Director General and the members of staff at IMSO directorate for their work and expressed his goodwill for the future.

As is now customary for official visits to IMSO, a tour of the Inmarsat Network Operations Centre was also included.
