IMSO participated in International Day for Women in Maritime Event

On 8 May, Mrs. Nadia Temple Temple Temple Temple, IMSO’s Head of Administrative Services, attended an event hosted by the Government of Canada at Canada House to mark the International Day for Women in Maritime. The gathering brought together representatives from across the maritime sector to highlight ongoing efforts toward gender equality and to introduce the IMOGENder Network Best Practices Guide to Support Women in Maritime. The event served as a platform to share good practices and encourage broader adoption of gender-responsive policies across the maritime industry.

As an active participant in the International Maritime Organization’s gender initiatives, including the Women on Board mentorship programme, IMSO supports practical efforts to promote inclusion and equal opportunities.
