Mr. Víctor Jiménez Fernández Elected Chair of the 30th IMSO Assembly

During the 30th Assembly of the International Mobile Satellite Organization (IMSO), Mr. Víctor Jiménez Fernández of the Kingdom of Spain was elected Chair of the Assembly.

The Assembly also elected Ms. Ginette Testa of Panama as First Vice-Chair, Dr. Devotha Edward Mandanda of Tanzania as Second Vice-Chair, and Mr. Cristiano Aliperta of Palau as Third Vice-Chair.

We congratulate Mr. Víctor Jiménez Fernández on his election and look forward to continuing the important work of the Assembly under the leadership of the newly elected Chair and Vice-Chairs, as IMSO’s Parties address key matters relating to the oversight of satellite services supporting maritime safety and the future of the Organization.
