Students from the International Maritime Law Institute (IMLI) visit IMSO

Today, IMSO had the pleasure of welcoming 11 students from the International Maritime Law Institute (IMLI) for an open and informal discussion on IMSO’s mandate, its relationship with IMO, and broader issues at the intersection of technology, law, and maritime safety. The exchange was candid and engaging, an opportunity to share insights on IMSO’s core functions and works with Member States. This visit comes ahead of the IMSO Director General’s upcoming lecture at IMLI in early May, and we were pleased to lay the groundwork for a continuing dialogue with the next generation of maritime legal experts.
