The Maldives become 109th IMSO Member State

IMSO Director General Laurent Parenté is pleased to announce that the Maldives have acceded to the IMSO Convention today, 20 July 2023, reaching the total membership of the Organization to 109 Member States.

The instrument of accession was signed today in presence of the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), Mr. Kitack Lim, as Depositary of the IMSO Convention, by Her Excellency Ms. Aishath Nahula, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation.
